After a year of deconstruction in 2012, Oakland Raiders G.M. Reggie McKenzie slowly started the reconstruction of the franchise. It started back in 2013 as some of the draft picks from that class started to play well in 2014. Then the class of 2014 came in and played well right away to make it two good drafts in a row.
And while it didn’t amount to much in the way of wins for the Raiders, McKenzie did identify his core players. The San Francisco Gate reported that he proudly told the media after the 2014, “The foundation has been built.” And with free agency and the draft right around the corner, I just want to remind Raider Nation what that core is.
