Phillip Dorsett

Miami Hurricanes receiver prospect Phillip Dorsett, no relation to Tony, is favored to run the fastest. You have to love those track guys that can actually catch the ball and he is definitely one of them. His track background is what allows him to run by defenders while making it look like he’s putting forth the same effort as he does jogging onto the field.

And to go along with with those world-class wheel, he’s an excellent route-runner to get even more separation. Dorsett is another guy that was projected into the fifth round during the season but as the season went along, he crept into the third round. And now, he’s also teetering on that 1-2 edge.

He has reportedly a 4.21, setting the record for players that went through the U (Miami). And when he’s on the field, if looks like everyone else on the field is in slow motion so I believe it. The Raiders really need to watch him at the combine because at 5’10”, 185 pounds, he’s most likely to be taken at the top of the second round in today’s game of big receivers.
