Most of the clips shown so far haven’t shown Smith’s release off the line of scrimmage. He isn’t pressed very often, but in this example, he does a great job getting open off the line, and then it’s all speed from there.

Same play as the previous one, but this view better shows Smith’s release off the line of scrimmage.

Smith’s speed allows him to get down the field quickly in punt coverage. And his ability to track and locate deep balls shows in punt coverage as well. In this example, he is able to use these traits to down the ball within the 5-yard line.

Smith catches the ball naturally with his hands, which is shown here. Tough catch with his arms fully extended, but he comes up with it.
