Amari Cooper, WR, Bama: 96

Pros: Cooper is a generally crisp route runner. He shows his expertise on double moves especially. His downfield routes are exceptional and in conjunction with his speed, he is a deadly weapon in the deep passing game. Amari’s vision in the open field is also exceptional. His ability to find open field and break through tackles with power. Cooper’s hands are as good as one will see with a receiver prospect.

Cons: Although Cooper is a crisp route runner on vertical routes, his ins and outs tend to be rounded off. Also, the sheer lack of routes outside of the vertical tree is bothersome. It is hard to tell if he will be able to be as successful with other routes or if his game will be limited to the vertical routes.
