Vic Beasley, OLB, Clemson: 95
Pros: Vic has an explosive first step and is a natural pass rusher. He plays low to the ground and behind his pads. What I love most about Vic is his abilities in open space. As a natural athlete he has excellent instincts and knows how to find the ball. His pass rush skills are solid. He shows a solid rip and swim, but most importantly he can convert speed to power very well.
At Clemson Vic saw a lot of double teams and fought through them fairly well. He has shown to be pretty solid at the point of attack and seems to be a natural fit in a 34 defense, although he could make an exceptional Will linebacker in a 43 defense as well.
Cons: Although he has a bit of a counter move, it needs more development. Vic has worked on a spin move but it does not show large results. If he can get the spin very tight and use it in conjunction with his speed and rip moves he can turn out to be an exceptional pass rusher.
