30. Shaq Thompson, OLB, UW: 87

Pros: Regardless of his size Thompson is an outside linebacker through and through. This talk of him as a safety is bizarre. He reminds me of Derrick Brooks. He is lightening fast, a big hitter, and an exceptional leader. Thompson was the fiery soul on tape of the Husky defense and he was everywhere on the field. He racked up both tackles for loss and passes defensed. His versatility is unmatched and a creative defensive mind can make this guy a disruptive monster.

Cons: Thompson like Brooks is woefully undersized, but Brooks found a way to hold his own at the point of attack and was allowed to be a run and hit weakside linebacker. Thompson needs to hit the weight room, but not gain so much mass that he loses what makes him special. The biggest issue with Thompson is going to be perception. How do coaches want to use him?
