In the first two rounds, it’s a good bet that the Oakland Raiders will look to add a pass rusher and a wide receiver, in some order.

If they choose to draft a pass rusher fourth overall, which is where my money is at, then wide receiver is a realistic option at pick 35.

There would be plenty of talented players to choose from in that scenario, and Jaelen Strong is amongst the best of those options.

The first two plays is where Jaelen will make his money. He is one of the best WR’s in this class at high-pointing the football, and his sideline awareness and body control are both outstanding.

On this play, Strong beats press coverage using a slant route, gets an the open field and takes it the house. Winning on routes like this one is a necessity for WR’s at the next level.

Great release in this example, beating his man off the line and avoiding the cornerbacks attempt to make contact.
