This example is all about his release off the line of scrimmage. Excellent job by Jaelen to make an initial move, and then use his hands to keep the corner from engaging.

Nice footwork to sell the slant route. Nothing too flashy, but these are very important yards for any NFL team.

Jaelen doesn’t do anything off the line here to keep the corner from engaging, and he does a poor job selling his hit route. The defender is all over him.

I was surprised to see a handful of easy drops. They seemed to be concentration related, and a few of them came on crossing routes in particular. The next two examples are of that.
