In short, Jake Fisher is very, very good. He’s arguably the most athletic offensive tackle in this class, and he might be the most technically sound one as well. I’ve got him ranked only behind La’El Collins, and at #11 overall on my board.

Fisher gets to the second level quickly and has no trouble locating and making blocks up the field. He’s got a smooth kick slide that looks great on film and when combined with his athleticism, it makes it difficult for any defender to get around the edge on him. He also has top-notch agility and great footwork.

He’s got great size and good strength, but he does need to get stronger. Also, his hand usage is okay but could be better. Specifically, his punch needs to be more consistent.

The Menelik Watson experiment looks like it’s in deep water, so the Raiders could look to add a replacement for him on the right side of the line. Fisher would be an outstanding pick, with potential to be the franchise tackle in the near future.

Here are a couple clips of Fisher.
