I honestly don’t know a whole lot about Clive Walford and won’t pretend I do. I’m surprised that the Raiders haven’t moved to fix the need at right guard yet.
That said, Walford appears to be a capable receiving tight end with some blocking ability who can come onto the field and compliment Mychal Rivera as well as work the deep seam and force teams out of cheating on the perimeter against Cooper and/or Streater. This pick together with the Cooper pick shows that the front office is committed to building a team around Derek Carr.
