I like, but don’t love, the Clive Walford pick. But I do understand why the selection was made.
He’s widely considered the second best TE in this class, and some have him at number one. Walford is a very good pass-catcher, setting several Miami records. Which when considering the talent they’ve had at the position is pretty impressive.
He also is a solid blocker, much better than Mychal Rivera, so that will be a nice benefit.
I was hoping for a player from a more impactful position to be selected, like Guard or Cornerback, but Walford should be a quality pro, so Raiders fans should be happy.
