As disappointed as I was with passing on Leonard Williams, I am super excited about the selection of Mario Edwards.

A super talented kid, who is a bit of a tweener between DT/DE. His versatility could be what separates him, and with the right coaching could be a real steal in the draft.  It’s clear DelRio wants size up front, this base 4-3 line is legit, and will definitely free up lanes for Khalil Mack to attack the QB in both base, nickel and dime sets.

Do we still need another edge rusher? Sure, but stopping the run is first priority. Great pick, hopefully the Raiders can get the most out of Mario Edwards JR sooner rather than later.
