Final Grade

At times Reggie McKenzie was brilliant making some moves that can help the Raiders turn around quickly, but this draft was not as good as last years. Perhaps we expected too much out of McKenzie it seemed he reached for players, and passed on highly touted safe picks far too often in an attempt to make an impact. He was able to trade down and aquire more picks, but he missed on some great prospects.

I would have liked to see the Raiders draft the best player available some more in the later rounds as they let special guys like Jake Ryan, Michael Bennett, and Gerod Holliman slide past them. All in all any time you draft three starters it is a successful draft and the Raiders have at least three starters with this draft class. That has me positive about the 2015 class even if McKenzie made some moves that were a bit from the expected based on the consensus best player available boards.
