Who’s In?

Free Agency saw the Broncos letting go of much more talent than they signed. They do have a wealth of young talent to step into the rolls, but many of them are unproven talents and may not pan out as starters.

Notable Free Agency Signing:

Antonio Smith – DT. Antonio Smith enjoyed a pretty solid season last year with the Raiders, many people were surprised to see him let go. With a need at the Defensive Tackle position, the Broncos picked Smith up shortly after his release from the Raiders. Smith was one of the top rated pass rushing defensive tackles in the league last season, a stat that was greatly bolstered by a stand out performance against the Niners where he was credited with three of his season’s four sacks. Smith is a liability on run downs, and if he earns ample playing time with the Broncos he should be a soft spot in the defensive line the Raiders should hit hard and often.
