The deal to build the Raiders a new stadium in Oakland supposedly “is gurgling blood,” waiting to be declared dead. And Raiders fans from Los Angeles or Southern California believe the U-Haul is packed and ready to go. But if you ask someone from Oakland, they’ll tell you, “The Oakland Raiders ain’t goin’ nowhwere, boss!”

But if you think with your brain and see with your eyes instead of your heart, you know it’s up in the air. One report sounds like the Raiders are leaving then the next report sounds like the opposite. And if you think you know, I don’t think you know because there are too many factors involved here.

I’m not saying I know either because it doesn’t even look like owner Mark Davis knows right now. There are so mamy layers, the situation is like a relationship status on Facebook, it’s complicated. It’s too complicated because getting to Los Angeles is just as complicated as staying in Oakland.

So much so, we shouldn’t be surprised if the Raiders extend the lease another year in 2016. Executive Vice President of the NFL Eric Grubman said, “The Oakland Raiders are the Oakland Raiders until they’re not. … If you want to have a high probability of being wrong, declare what you think is going to happen.”

Turn the page to see just how muddy the situation is.
