After a handful of quality drafts and some work in free agency, the Oakland Raiders might have something that they haven’t had in quite some time – A foundation.

There is a decent amount of quality, young talent on this team, with several players having potential star power.

This got me thinking, with the roster as it currently stands, which players are truly cornerstone pieces? Guys who can be on this team for years to come. Players who have the potential to be life-long Raiders, and very good players in this league. Guys with Pro-Bowl or maybe even All-Pro talent.

Which players on the roster are (or can be) quality starters? Younger players who will be solid contributors, with potential to land second contracts. Not perennial pro-bowlers, but the meat and bones of the roster.

And then which players just miss the cut? They may be starters or important role players for the team now, but if they were playing on a contender, would they still be starting? Probably not, and that’s why they missed the cut.

Let’s get into it.
