Oakland Raiders Training Camp preview: Five rookies to watch

Training Camp in the NFL is an exciting time to watch a team come together for the upcoming season. Every year, all 32 NFL teams show up to their training camp with 90 players on the active roster. When it’s all over, they have to reduce that number to 53. While many players enter camp with their job almost guaranteed, a large number of players – late round draft picks, rookie free agents, and even veterans – do not have such job security. Some younger players will be cut and added to the team’s practice squad. Other players will just be cut.

The Raiders enter this years’ training camp with a lot of new faces in a lot of places and with a lot of young players – and a few old ones – fighting for their place on the final 53 man roster. While some new faces are safe (Rodney Hudson, Dan Williams), others are not.

Here are five Raider rookies who may surprise fans and observers and make their way onto the 53 man roster for the 2015 season:
