The Rookies

The “New Yorker” said that after reading my last article, she was actually interested in seeing the Oakland Raiders just to see if I was delusional or if they really are improving. She never really watches games with me but seeing how encouraged I was even at the end of the season last year, she’s willing to sit through some games to gain a new perspective. “For sure they HAVE to get better soon. You can only be THAT BAD for so long.” I absolutely love that optimistic outlook she provides me with. It’s really only a small part of her considerable charms, but I take what I can get, especially where it pertains my beloved Oakland Raiders.

The 2015 Oakland Raiders are being overlooked in my opinion. While some may say that I’m looking through rose-colored, “homer” glasses, I’ve seen plenty of bad football teams out of the Oakland Alameda County Coliseum and I can say with authority (Cartman voice) that this group of Linebackers has a chance to collectively be some of the best ever to wear the Silver and Black thanks to the presence of Khalil Mack along with the potential of Sio Moore. “That’s a bold statement” (Vincent Vega) you may say, but I’m willing to take that Pepsi Challenge. Next week, the D-Line…GO RAIDERS!
