The Oakland Raiders 2015 Training Camp has begun. Rookies are attempting to reveal their potential early in their careers, unheralded veterans are fighting to prove they still belong in the NFL, and projected starters are perfecting their craft as they set their sights on the postseason. The regular season is within grasp, and in turn, the competition to make the 53-man roster is officially underway.

There are multiple prospective players competing for starting roles on both sides of the ball, but it will be the position battles taken place on the back-end of the roster that will determine the final members added to the roster.

Given the fact that most of the cuts being made in early September will be 2015 Undrafted Free Agents, I have chosen to keep the list exciting and instead highlight five veteran players that could be turning in their playbook before Week 1.
