Bottom Line

Is this the year?

The Raiders have an awful lot of talent on that team these days so if it comes together, it can be. For every Carr, Murray, Cooper and Crabtree with the offensive line there’s a Streater and Walford many are sleeping on. For every Mack, Williams and Woodson on the defense, there’s an Edwards, McGill and Moore on the defense.

And there are coaches that know how to use them as the Dennis Allen era has mercifully come to an end. McKenzie has done a good job of finding character guys to so their maturity can turn this thing around early. That makes the Raiders a slept on team so they could very well sneak up on the league this year. A long rebuild is getting closer to completion, and the second tier of Raiders key players could be the difference in this team being able to be far more competitive in 2015 than in the majority of the past decade in Oakland.
