Raider football is BACK! The Raiders opened up action ahead of the 2015 season with an 18-3 win over the Rams Friday night in their first action of the preseason. While preseason games are for the most part meaningless and are essentially a televised practice scrimmage, each preseason game is important in its own way as players and coaches get a chance to put what they’ve been working on at camp to the test in a live scenario against a true opponent.
So while it’s important to not get too caught up in stats and results from a preseason game, especially the first one, this preseason taught us a few things about what we can expect from our new-look 2015 Raiders as the regular season approaches.
