Carson better location than Inglewood

The pitch of Inglewood as the new center to Los Angeles is overrated. The Los Angeles market is so unique, because it is spread out. There are major sights and venues in Downtown L.A., the Santa Monica area, Hollywood, and even in East LA. Even if Angelinos do not rep their districts as hard as New York people do their boroughs, locals take pride in their own sites.

Plus, Inglewood has enough traffic with the Forum and Casino. As the promo video states, Carson has plenty of freeway access. The South Los Angeles location has convenient proximity to Los Angeles, Orange and Ventura counties. Not to mention, visitors from San Diego and Northern California have an easy drive off of the 405 freeway. The neighboring suburbs of the Inland Empire, Riverside and San Bernadino counties, would also have a short drive down the 91 freeway. Inglewood’s closer proximity to the actual city of Los Angeles just means more traffic for locals and travelers.

Remember that the Kings and Lakers left the area years ago for a reason.
