Neiko Thorpe

Third-year defensive back Neiko Thorpe has had little opportunity to prove what he is worth during the regular season, but he seems to be making the most of his opportunity in both training camp and the preseason.

In late May Brian Flores of BleacherReport.com recognized Thorpe as a player on the rise after OTA’s, as he highlighted the fact that he had been playing well and that the three corners listed ahead of him have yet to prove their worth in the NFL.

The rest of the preseason will determine whether or not Thorpe sees any playing time this season, but he will still be heavily relied on in sub-packages or if an injury takes place ahead of him on the depth chart.
