For the most part it is a true statement that preseason football means absolutely nothing, however the general feeling of most Raider fans after a preseason game barring last year’s Seahawks game, is a sudden realization that hope is limited for the franchise for yet another season. That is, until last Friday. For the first time in my adult life as a Raiders fan, I thought I saw a professional team take the field in a preseason game.

The team had chemistry, leadership, playmakers, and depth. Those are four words I have never associated with the Raiders in preseason. For once, they did not come out looking like a bumbling disaster waiting to happen. It looked as if they had a veteran coaching staff that is not messing around, and one that has no patience for being bad.

With that being said, following are my thoughts after the first preseason game, what I want to see on Saturday in Minnesota, and some Twitter questions from our loyal readers.
