Twitter Q&A

@kalani91: @holistic_pickle can you play cornerback?

I am going to keep this real simple. There is way too much Rory in existence for me to play cornerback. Maybe I could be the world’s shortest right guard.

@PugetZulu: @holistic_pickle I’m curious about how our safeties. What is their role in Norton’s scheme & how have they performed thus far?

In general safeties from the Seattle scheme are interchangeable and I would expect that for the Raiders. Primarily I expect to see more cover one and cover three although we are getting a lot of cover two in the preseason. Expect Allen to play more high free safety and Woodson to be a roaming strong safety with plenty of off man or off zone from the corners.

@A_NewLookRaider: @holistic_pickle who’s spot does Taylor Mays end up stealing ? And don’t say JDowling

I find it highly unlikely that Mays makes this roster. If Moore is fighting for a backup spot after being injured all camp then Mays is not guaranteed anything. I think he is a temporary replacement for Asante who knocked himself out on a stupid leading hit in the Viking game.
