In the most important game of preseason, the so-called “dress rehearsal,” the Raiders fell to the Arizona Cardinals 30-23 in a thrilling and tense game that started as a defensive boxing match but ended in a flurry of late scores. The starters played the entire first half and, in the case of the Raiders, well into the third quarter before the backups came in to finish things up, as is typical of a third preseason game.

The game featured some poor offensive performances and great defensive performances and some players came out as winners while others left as losers. As the Raiders prepare for to make the first round of roster cuts to get the roster from 90 to 75 players, here are some of the players who are trending either up or down after their preseason performance last night.
