Charles Woodson

Strong safety Charles Woodson is going to turn 39 at some point this season, but has plenty left in the tank as we have seen since his return to Oakland from the Packers. Being an owner of a winery must have him aging like fine wine because that’s what he’s doing. Woodson is a strong safety that plays in the box and covers tight end so he has to be very physical.

He also has to cover the slot at times as he amazingly has the speed and the athleticism to do that. Such a skill-set is amazing for a player any age, which is why he’s a NFL Top-100 football player. Another part of his herculean skill-set is his ability to blitz off the edge and make plays for the Raiders.

But as far as this preseason and the dress rehearsal goes, he hasn’t done nor does he need to do much. The Raiders are saving his body to make it through the 2015 season without breaking down. We’ve seen him the last few years and know that he’s a playmaker on this Raiders defense this year.
