Total Grades for the Offense, and honorable mentions:
- Gabe Jackson: +6.1
- Michael Crabtree: +3.1
- Donald Penn: +2.2 – Donald continues to pay off for the Raiders. Only bad play for him was the QB hurry he is credited with, many believe that was the cause of Carr’s 4th quarter interception.
- Latavius Murray: +1.3
- Andre Holmes: +1.2 – Holmes only played 14 snaps in the game, but he made every play count. He got a 0.0 grade from run blocking (for those who don’t know 0.0 is essentially average) so he was doing his job on those 7 downs. For the 7 passing downs he played, he made 3 receptions on 4 targets for 50 yards. That shows great trust between him and Carr, for him to be targeted over half the time he’s on the field.
- Derek Carr: +1.2 – a QB rating of 100.9, 351 passing yards, and 3 TD’s can do a lot for your grade, but throwing a pick will drop your grade considerably.
- Taiwan Jones: +.9
- Austin Howard: +.7 – Two penalties really dropped his grade. But to be in the positive regardless of two penalties is a pretty good showing.
- Rodney Hudson: +.5 – I do expect much more out of Hudson, he was rock solid in pass protection, but his grade slipped a bit in run blocking
- Marcel Reece: +.5
- Amari Cooper: +.3 – Subtracting the 2 drops he was credited with, I’d imagine his grade goes up closer to Michael Crabtree’s. I’m not concerned with this, I think Cooper will develop his consistency with reps and time.
- Mychal Rivera: -.8 – Run blocking was the key to his low-grade.
- Seth Roberts: -.9 – Roberts played 49 snaps, when a player is in that many downs and doesn’t contribute more on paper it lowers the grade. I think Seth’s performance merits a 10!
- Clive Walford: -1.1
- Lee Smith: -1.2
- J’Marcus Webb: -2.4
That give the offense an overall grade of +12. The offense showed up, and delivered which shows in their positive grades from PFF.
