PFF Stats Breakdown (Offense)

Honorable mentions in bold

  • Donald Penn: +4.9
  • Gabe Jackson: +3.6
  • Austin Howard: +2.4
  • Derek Carr: +1.4
  • Rodney Hudson: +1
  • Latavius Murray: +.8 – A negative grade in pass protection brought his grade down a bit.
  • Clive Walford: +.5
  • Marcel Reese: +.5
  • Lee Smith: +.1 – He had a great day in run blocking, earning a grade of +1.2.  A penalty is was cost him a better overall grade.
  • Michael Crabtree: 0.0 – After a stellar performance last week, Crabtree had another solid game.  He eneded up with only 4 catches on 11 targets though.  For the second straight week he earned a positive grade in run blocking with a +.5.  It may not seem like much, but a wide receiver willing to put so much work in on run blocking shows just how dedicated he is to the team a a whole.  Great unselfish play.
  • Seth Roberts: -.5 – Despite having some great catches, he also had 2 drops.  That’ll knock any receiver down a bit on their overall grade.
  • Andre Holmes: -.8 – Again, a receiver with a TD reception and a negative grade.  A majority of Andre’s snaps on the field were in run plays, so it’s hard for a receiver to show overall production when he’s called in to block, and his -1 run blocking grade doesn’t help.
  • Amari Cooper: -.8 – Even though I give Cooper a pass for the 4th quarter fumble because It was just a great hit by the defender, a fumble is a fumble.
  • J’Marcus Webb: -1.9 – The only Offensive Linemen for the team to score a negative grade.
  • Mychal Rivera: -4 – Rivera has never been a great run blocker and combining his -2.6 run block grade with a few penalties and it’s no mystery why he scored so low.
