For the second straight week, the Oakland Raiders put together a positive performance to earn themselves a victory, this time on the road as the franchise won their first road game since the 2013 season. Beating the Cleveland Browns in an exciting 27-20 victory to move to 2-1 and have the Raider Nation thinking that this team could make some noise in the AFC as an underdog sleeper this season.

Despite the late scare following an Amari Cooper fumble giving the Browns a game-tying drive opportunity, the Raiders win over the Browns on the road was arguably more impressive than their win at home against the Ravens despite playing a slightly weaker opponent. Derek Carr and the offense putting up impressive numbers to give the team a 17 point lead in the fourth quarter in a game in which the Raiders dominated save for the turnover in the late stages giving the Browns some life as well as making the score closer than it should have been based on the full four quarters of the game on Sunday.

Still, the Raiders left some things to improve upon going into Week 4. Namely in pass coverage, an area that appears to be a concern that will last for the entire season, particularly in covering tight ends as for the third straight game the Oakland defense allowed a tight end touchdown. A factor that despite the pass rush finally making an appearance, has many still concerned over if this Raiders defense will be good enough to keep the wins coming over the long course of the 2015 schedule even if the offense is doing well in putting up touchdowns to win high scoring games in the first month of the season.
