Coming talent returning from injury

One player that’s coming and I’m excited about is 2013 4th-round defensive lineman Stacy McGee. I was really looking for him in 2014 because he played so well down the stretch in 2013. But he broke his hand right before training camp and a defensive lineman is no good without his hands so there went 2014.

Then after Justin ‘Jelly’ Ellis went out with a sprained ankle in Week 1 and C.J. Wilson with a calf, McGee was put in the starting lineup. And the defense immediately got better, making it hard to take him out of there. He’s been strong against the run and gotten to the quarterback, giving him nowhere to step up when the edge rushers get there.

Another player that’s coming is corner David Amerson, who the Raiders claimed off waivers from the Washington Redskins. He looked like a budding star as a rookie then fell out of favor after a bad sophomore campaign. But as a Raider, his coverage has been tight had he has been inches away from interceptions on a few occasions
