Oakland Raiders now ready for the tough part of schedule

Final thoughts

With Jay Cutler, the Bears really aren’t that bad as the lost 3-straight to contenders to open 2015. They only lost to the Green Bay Packers by eight and were down eight to the Arizona Cardinals at halftime. But Cutler pulled his hamstring late in the second quarter as the game did get out of hand until he went out.

Then they were shutout by the Seattle Seahawks without Cutler altogether while the Seahawks got Kam Chancellor back. You should know head coach John Fox is going to right that ship anyway so there’s no reason to cry about that loss. The Raiders have a lot of rookies and young players in prominent roles so the mistakes that were made last Sunday will actually help.

It’s better for them to make get those mistakes out of the way so the Raiders don’t get embarrassed by the better teams. And at the same time with all the talent they have, they have a chance to beat some of these good teams if the don’t make mistakes. I actually think the Raiders matchup well with the Broncos and are going into this game at the right time.

This coaching staff has to know what needs to be done so I’m sure they’ll do whatever it is in their first divisional game. This team is coming together, and even if a win might be a longshot this team is far more prepared to take on the top half of their division than they were a year ago which should be an encouraging sign for Raiders fans going forward.
