The Raiders were absent from this week’s slate of NFL games, enjoying the annual bye week before heading into the meat of the 2015 schedule. After a humiliating loss to start the season, the Raiders won two straight, including the team’s first road win in almost two years, before losing two close games before entering the bye.

The bye was well-timed this year, as it disrupts a two-game skid and allows the banged up team that has a lot of new faces to get more time to heal and adjust before heading into the next eleven weeks of games. The Raiders came into this season with high hopes after undergoing a significant change in coaching staff and adding a few exciting players in the offseason.
