When a conversation involving the Oakland Raiders comes up between me and any of my friends the same group of players comes up every time. Derek Carr, Amari Cooper, Khalil Mack, Charles Woodson and Aldon Smith dominate the conversation.

When the national media talks about the Raiders, it’s typically the same players being talked about as well. Now, I’m not trying to diminish the young core and the ageless demigod who comprise the list of characters and dominate topics of discussion when it comes to the Raiders; I just want to show a little love to the other guys. Football is after all, the ultimate team sport, and a handful of players, now matter how talented, can’t win games on their own.

So here is a list of a few players who are flying under most of the NFL’s radar, who I think could have a chance to really help the Raiders out this Sunday as they travel to San Diego to play the Chargers.
