Oakland Raiders: What have we learned after seven weeks?

We are pretty close to the halfway point of the NFL regular season and the playoff picture is starting to unfold. The Oakland Raiders are even at 3-3, ranked second in the AFC West and sixth overall in the AFC. This is a team that entered the season with an aura of optimism from the GM, to coaches, to the players, and even to us fans. We were hoping for improvement, we were hoping to have the Raiders field a team we could hold our head up high about representing as a fan.
Just as the playoff picture is revealing itself, this young team is also starting to reveal its identity to the world. The young core players are starting to make the national media take notice, and the future is looking bright.
