Minnesota’s defense is strong at each level, but if there is one place that Oakland can beat them, it’s in the secondary.
Xavier Rhodes emerged last season as one of the best young CB’s in football, and really locked down the second half of the year. But he’s dealt with a few injuries this season and hasn’t been as been as good when healthy.
Amari Cooper has looked as good as advertised, ranking 15th in the NFL in receiving yards and making plenty of highlight plays along the way.
It’s going to be difficult to establish the run in this one, so putting points on the board is going to be heavily reliant on the passing game. Even though Rhodes hasn’t been as good this season as last, he’s still a talented, physical CB and it’ll be a fun matchup to watch.
