Davis not backing down

Oakland Raiders owner Mark Davis shot down any ideas that his team would abandon their Carson Stadium proposal and bid for Los Angeles.

After the Owners’ Meetings in Dallas on Wednesday, Davis told NFL Network he was not thinking about joining the 49ers in Santa Clara or jumping to St. Louis.

Davis also shot down any speculation about him joining the Rams’ in Inglewood.

Davis also told NFL.com, “I have an equitable partner, it’s [Chargers owner] Dean Spanos.”

Davis’ comments come after many speculated the Chargers Dean Spanos jumping-ship in Carson for the Rams’ Inglewood stadium.

ESPN sources said their was zero chance of Spanos joining Stan Kroenke in Inglewood.

Raiders and Chargers officials are set to meet with officials of the StubHub Center regarding training/game site operations, according to ESPN. Located on the campus of CSU Dominguez Hills, the Stubhub center is a multi-sport complex.
