Jack Conklin Film: Part 4
Something I noticed with Conklin is he on the ground an awful lot. It seems like it’s a combination of poor balance and also just clumsiness. Three consecutive plays he ends up on the ground, and there were many more examples I could have used.
Nice rep in pass protection by Conklin in this example. His matchup goes absolutely nowhere.
Conklin’s matchup does a spin move and gets to the inside, and it’s over from there.
Conklin quickly gets across the formation and seals off a defensive lineman, creating some space for a his RB.
Conklin gets out-muscled in this clip, and his matchup ends up getting the run stop.
