Speaking of veteran receivers moving across the bay, Boldin may join his former 49ers teammate Crabtree with the Raiders receiving corps.

Other free agent receivers Roddy White, Marques Colston, Andre Johnson and Greg Jennings would win a fantasy league three seasons ago. However, all of those guys hovered around 500 receiving yards last season.

Boldin caught nearly 800 receiving yards from struggling quarterbacks like Colin Kaepernick and Blaine Gabbert. Imagine Boldin as a third or fourth receiver catching the ball from Derek Carr.

Boldin would bring a possession threat that challenges the entire Raiders receiving corps. He is also a solid blocker which helps the running game. Plus, the Raiders will need all the playoff experience they can buy this year.

Boldin recently met with Washington, but no deal was signed. The Raiders should pick him up while he remains available.
