As for the running game, they may opt to find Latavius Murray‘s primary backup in the draft. However, the Raiders flirted with interest in some running backs early.

Pro Bowl runner Arian Foster gets mentioned with the team due to his Calif. roots and his cheap price coming off of injury. Yet Hillman presents an option head coach Jack Del Rio is familiar with from his days with Denver. Hillman is also from Long Beach, Calif.

At 24-years-old, Hillman averages 4.1 yards-per-carry in his career. Hillman rushed for 863 yards a season ago. He understands working in a tandem backfield from his days with Denver.

Green Bay already reported interest in Hillman, but Oakland offers sunnier weather and more opportunity. Oakland should give him a shot at battling Taiwan Jones or a rookie for snaps in the backfield.
