Linebacker is another position the Raiders may address in the draft. However, Brown started 33 games in four seasons with the Titans. He only started six in the past two seasons, but Brown accumulated 55 tackles and two interceptions in five starts last year.

At the very least, Brown brings competition at the inside linebacker position. Ben Heeney is only entering his second year. Malcolm Smith should start at inside or outside backer, but Pro Football Focus ranked him among the worst backers in the league.

Brown may not be an upgrade over either of those guys, but he is an experienced competitor. At the very least, he is cheap depth and a special teams piece.

Mike Neal is another name to look for as an addition at linebacker. However, he plays more pass rusher than Brown who fits as a 4-3 outside or 3-4 inside backer.

Considering there is not a lot of reported interest for Brown on the open market, he should jump at a chance to join the Silver and Black.
