Smart play by Nkemdiche. He turns himself sideways to get skinny between two blockers and deflects the pass, resulting in an interception.

His snap anticipation is inconsistent. There are often times he’s the last player to react after the snap.

Nkemdiche holds up strong at the point of attack, disengages from his block and gets the run stop.

But like much of Nkemdiche’s game, he just needs to find consistency. Later in the same game as the previous clip, here are back to back plays where he doesn’t hold up at the point of attack and loses gap integrity.

Nkemdiche’s speed to power conversion is also inconsistent. This is an example where he does well in this regard; he knocked the o-lineman on his heels, then got in the QB’s face and forced a bad throw, resulting in a pick-six.

An example of when Nkemdiche gets aggressive with his hands, his power can be devastating.
