Oakland Raiders owner Mark Davis will be in Las Vegas this Thursday for a stadium pitch that will be crucial to a potential franchise relocation.

As the NFL focuses on this week’s 2016 NFL Draft, the momentum of a potential Oakland Raiders relocation is quietly growing as owner Mark Davis will be in Las Vegas for a meeting that could help determine if a potential domed stadium in the Sin City will be built.

On the day of the first round of the 2016 NFL Draft, Davis will be attending the second meeting with the Southern Nevada Tourism Infrastructure Committee. A meeting that could push forward the stadium that Vegas casino magnate Sheldon Alderson desperately wants built in order to bring the NFL to the city via the Raiders relocating from Oakland.

Jason Cole of Bleacher Report and Vincent Bonsignore of the Los Angeles Daily News also both claimed that they believe Davis will be heavily pursuing Vegas rather than attempt to become the second Los Angeles franchise.

With things still stalling in Oakland when it comes to financing a stadium, a domed venue financed by casino money and the Nevada/Las Vegas taxpayers could be too much for Davis to pass up. If the money is given to build a stadium and Oakland remains unwilling to work with Davis on getting a new stadium built there is a very high chance that we all could be watching the Las Vegas Raiders one day.
