An Oakland Raiders wishlist for every Silver and Black draft pick in the 2016 NFL Draft.

The crown jewel of the NFL’s off-season activities – the 2016 NFL Draft – will commence on Thursday, with all 32 teams looking to add rookie talent as another generation of college players enters the NFL. The Raiders have eight selections in this years’ draft, including two picks acquired by trades with Dallas and Indianapolis.

The team has drafted with purpose in the Reggie McKenzie era, acquiring a number of starters and key role players that the franchise is now building around. McKenzie rarely (never) trades up, but is fond of trading back and hoarding picks in the later rounds to increase his probability of hitting on a late round pick like he did with 6th round selection Latavius Murray.

The draft is perhaps the most analyzed and discussed off-field event in North American sports, and plenty of analysis has been done here at JustBlogBaby as well as lesser sites and sources like ESPN and CBS Sports, predicting picks and mock drafting. What follows here is none of that. Here is one slightly educated fan’s wish list for the Raiders 2016 draft, for all eight picks, that I think is realistic but don’t necessarily think is probable:
