Plenty of talent still available

The Raiders are in very good position heading into rounds two and three. Karl Joseph fills a big need at safety, and with few needs remaining and a lot of talent still on the board, McKenzie has an opportunity to add some really good players to the roster.

McKenzie certainly will take a look at each level of the defense — defensive line, linebacker, and the secondary — but there isn’t really any spot that needs more help than other.

Running back, wide receiver, and offensive line depth are other areas to look at. So really, just the best player on the board is something we can expect.

A handful of players I’m fond of at each positional group:

DL – Chris Jones, Jon Bullard, Javon Hargrave, Andrew Billings

LB – Myles Jack, Jaylon Smith, Josh Perry, Deion Jones, Nick Kwiatkoski

DB – Sean Davis, Mackensie Alexander, Darian Thompson, Justin Simmons

WR – Sterling Shepard, Michael Thomas

RB – Paul Perkins, C.J. Prosise, Derrick Henry, Kenneth Dixon, and several others.

OT – Jason Spriggs, Christian Westerman

There are more players where that came from, too. Let me know some of the players you hope to see drafted by the Raiders in the second or third round.
