An interesting thing to look out for is whether or not McKenzie will trade down in either the second or third round.

Judging by the talent still available, and his history of trading down in mid-rounds, I’d say it seems likely.

In 2012, Oakland traded pick #48 and a 2011 seventh-round selection to the Patriots for New England’s third and fourth-round selections in 2011 (Nos. 92 and 125).

In 2013, McKenzie traded away the No. 3 pick and moved down to No. 12, so that was day one instead of day two, but McKenzie picked up an extra second round pick.

In 2014, Oakland traded pick #67 to Miami in exchange for Miami’s third and fourth round selections (Nos. 81 and 116).

In 2015, McKenzie didn’t make any round two or three trades, but he was very busy in rounds four through seven.

So there is certainly plenty of history to go off of, and I think we’ll see at least one trade down today.
