As Williams proved, you do not need to be in one place for a long-time to emerge as a leader. Insert Irvin who comes over from Seattle via free agency.

Irvin wasted not time emerging as the leader on social media. He attempted recruiting Eric Weddle, Tony Jefferson and others via free agency. Irvin also urged the team to draft Karl Joseph.

It remains to be seen if Irvin can command the same respect from his teams, as he can from media and fans. Nonetheless, his productivity in a similar Seattle scheme may help him earn the respect of his teammates.
