  1. Del Rio Looking for Talent to Emerge at Receiver Position

After deciding against adding a wide receiver in the 2016 NFL draft, the Raiders seemingly have a great deal of faith in their four returning wide receivers to secure positions at the top of the depth chart, but Del Rio has made it clear that the added UDFAs will have an opportunity to find a home deeper down the depth chart.

“Depth for us at the back end of our wide receiver corps, that’s critical for us, Del Rio said. “We’re still searching, so they all have an opportunity, and I would think that we will continue to explore any possibility to add depth at the back end of our receiver group. Our first four guys are pretty solid, but beyond that, it gets pretty thin.”

Of the several UDFA receivers participating in OTAs, former Colorado State receiver Joe Hansley has reportedly stood out as one of the better receivers of the group, for Del Rio praised Hansley for his hands.

With the Rams, Hansley brought in 28 receptions for 415 yards and six touchdowns behind now Cleveland Browns receiver Rashard Higgins in 2015.
