82. Branden Jackson

Another UDFA coming to the Raiders training camp roster, Branden Jackson was a captain at Texas Tech last season where he started 38 games during his career with the Red Raiders. Coming to Oakland looking to make an impact at linebacker starting with camp in Napa.

Jackson had nine sacks for his career with the Red Raiders, providing a pass rushing presence in the blitz while also being a steady tackler in the second level. Production that he will have to match and surpass if he wants to make noise in the NFL.

Jackson will be another practice squad hopeful as he is a UDFA with major college experience in the Big 12 at Tech, if he can do his job at training camp there is no reason why Jackson won’t be able to stake his claim as a player who should be stashed around for a season to see where he can develop down the road.
