2. Bruce Irvin

The self-proclaimed “Baby Reggie” wasted no time recruiting free agents, after signing his own deal. He may waste zero time becoming a leader of the defense too.

Irvin also knows Norton Jr. from Seattle, so that could help him become captain of the defense.

Added, Irvin has formed the Smash Bros duo with Khalil Mack. Therefore, Irvin’s production could exceed already good numbers from Seattle. A Super Bowl champion, Irvin could be the best choice for captain as he already has the credentials needed to be a locker room leader in Oakland.
